Wanderings places Frédéric Chopin’s four Ballades in dialogue with works by Clara Schumann, Lili Boulanger, and Amy Beach, tracing ideas of displacement, identity, memory, and transformation across generations.

Conceived in response to the war in Ukraine and the experience of displacement, the album explores music’s capacity to move between darkness and hope, connecting Chopin’s lifelong relationship with exile to works by composers whose music expands the emotional world surrounding the Ballades.
